One of the best ways to have a great birth is to be educated and informed about your choices. As the mother of three and a labor doula who has assisted hundreds of women over the past twelve years, I try to provide information and techniques that will help you prepare for your birth and for life with your new baby.

Each six class series includes:

  • Discussion of anatomy, as well as nutrition and exercise that will help you prepare for your birth.
  • Relaxation techniques that will help you during your labor
  • What to expect during labor and how your partner can support you.
  • Information about hospital procedures and the risks and benefits of different interventions.
  • What to expect with your newborn - baby care and breastfeeding
The classes are small with time for personal attention. As a prenatal yoga teacher, I also enjoy including information about yoga and meditations that can support you during your pregnancy and the birth of your new family.
